The Teacups begin their journey...

If you have been following my blog, you have read about my 100 Cups of Tea in my first blog entry.  When I completed the teacups, I set out to find local public places to install them.  I love art galleries and museums, but I wanted to see these inhabit spaces that people don't normally associate with art and I wanted them to be in spaces that are public, where anyone can interact with them.  My teacups are now available for viewing here:

Yes, Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier!!  If you live in Madison, you know Gail Ambrosius is a legend here and I'm sure you have enjoyed her chocolates like I have.  She has an amazing story behind her work, so it is really exciting to me to be able to share my teacups in her store!  I have to say that the Carmel Sprinkled with Grey Salt is one of my favorites - I could probably eat that all day.  But I also love the Tea inspired collection, especially the Earl Grey and the Rose.  Chocolates + Tea - a pretty good combination, don't you think? :)

Not the best photos here, I'm afraid, but I plan to share a little more about the installation process soon and I'll have some more photos to show you.

One last thought on the installation - I would like to see these teacups travel.  If you have ideas of other spaces I can install the teacups in, please leave a comment below.  The only requirement I have is that the spaces be indoors, for obvious reasons.

For now, please visit Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier to eat some delectable chocolates and surround yourself with some teacups! :)
